Petzl - ASAP 20 Kit

Petzl's ASAP 20 Kit is a pre-assembled and ready-to-use personal fall arrest system. This kit includes a mobile fall arrester, an energy absorber, and a connector.

Installed on a lifeline, this mobile fall arrester follows the user as they move, whether on an inclined or vertical surface. In case of a shock load or sudden acceleration, they lock onto the lifeline and stop the worker, even if grabbed during the fall.

The ASAP 20 assembly is ANSI Z359.15 compliant only when used with RAY 11 Rope (with or without sewn termination; sold separately).

ASAP LOCK Mobile Fall Arrester
Constant fall protection: arrests falls, slides, and uncontrolled descents
Works on vertical or angled rope
Moves up or down the rope, without any manual operation
Easy to install and remove at any point on the rope
Integrated locking function allows the user to immobilize the device in order to reduce the potential fall distance. In the event of a strong wind, this function also prevents the rope from being blown upward
Connection arm makes the system drop-resistant when passing intermediate anchors

Durable fabric pouch with opening system at each end protects the energy absorber from abrasion or contaminants while allowing for regular inspection of the absorber
Ends equipped with STRING to hold the connector in position and protect the webbing from abrasion
